Think about the experience
Our guided tour program allows you to learn more about the Universe we live in. Living in lively cities makes it more difficult to witness the magnificence of the skies and heavens. Through the innovation of science, we are able to get a little closer to the hidden wonders of the Universe. Stars, planets, nebulae, all are within your reach with RumSky. An entrepreneurial project was started by a group of Jordanians, using state of the art technology and mobile Observatory apps.

We start by picking up of our guest from all the local camps in Disi Area. See link of camp names.
At the end of of the show we send our guests back to their camps.
Our ticket price includes transportation unless you are staying outside Disi (Rum, Aqaba, Etc)

See what you can not see with naked eyes
A bit pricy, but worth it
Four telescopes were aligned to different points in the sky and a lecture with practical advises was conducted by very passionate and patient astronomers. Best questions came from little kids so stick with them will be fun and you can learn something extra.
They offer a coat - take it!!! In the night dessert temperatures drop drastically and the whole thing is about an hour

El cielo en el desierto, a no perdérselo
Perfecto: vinieron a buscarnos a nuestro hotel y nos trajeron de vuelta, fueron muy amables y la observación del cielo fue impresionante. Muy recomendable. Además, tenían unos abrigos preciosos y gratis para los visitantes más frioleros, las explicaciones fueron muy entretenidas y amenas, se nos hizo cortísimo. Y todo por sólo ¡20 JOD! Nos encantó, la verdad...

Better than a tent in the desert is the night out of the tent in the desert
Excellent présentation, nice practical skills for an amateur astronomer or just curious travellers. Would recommend to anyone who is in live with the desert, the freedom and the charm of this lively country.

Noche de luna en Wadi Rum
Con menos luna y más estrellas hubiera mirado por el telescopio aún más horas y horas. Los telescopios de muy buena calidad, los chicos que explicaban entendían de lo que hablaban. Fue una muy buena experiencia, se hizo corta pero nos gustó mucho.
Ver la luna con todos sus detalles tan cerca es alucinante, pero en una noche con menos luna tiene que ser una experiencia totalmente distinta. Si alguna vez volvemos por la zona, nos aseguraremos de que sea más cerca de la luna nueva esta visita.

Unforgettable Experience
This was an unforgettable experience under the stars. Our guides were true experts and I never thought I would have the chance to see Saturn’s rings through a telescope. Thanks to their teachings I now know how to find the North Star. Wadi Rum is a great lace to view stars without light pollution, to me this tour is a must if you plan to visit Wadi Rum.

Surroundings too much lighted
It is a bit too expensive (20 J D) each person to see 4 times a vague shiny point in a telescope : in fact, we couldn't see anything directly in the sky because it is located in a part of the desert which is surrounded by many camp sites, fully lighted. Look for an other agency located in an other site, if you want to see something of the milky way.

Très belle expérience pédagogique
Très belle expérience d'observation des étoiles. 1h30 de partage autour de l'astronomie.
Les deux jeunes astro-physiciens sont tres pédagogues. Les explications sont claires et avec de l'humour.
Après 15-20 de généralités très intéressantes, on passe par deux ateliers : un atelier de découvertes des astres avec les télescopes : planètes, etoiles, constellation, trou noir au programme. Un deuxième atelier d'observation visuelle avec des lasers très puissants pour montrer les différentes constellations, comprendre la rotation... Bravo pour la qualité des explications et des échanges.
